Will come back with tasting results. Until thens cheers all beer lovers.
A few years ago our interest in brewing beer started. At one of the swedish championships of home brewed beer we met a couple from up north in Sweden.
We enjoyed beer tasting and each others company.
About a year ago we found out there was something cooking in Piteå. http://www.pitebryggeri.se/ was building up a business and guess what our friends were the founders.
We are so happy for your new project and impressed that you made it! Now we are looking forward to a visit and tasting.
Cheers Jörgen and Jeanette
Tasting HumleDumle Xmas Brown Ale 2014
Posted: December 19, 2014 in Competition, Home Brewed, TastingA first taste of the Humle & Dumle Xmas Brown Ale 2014. A superb distinct aroma of hops, chocolate, caramell and coffee. Perfect foam and crystal clear beer.
The magic feeling appears when opening the bottle, filling the glass and putting your slightly red nose into paradise.
We say most of the time we made the best beer ever. And this time we agree again. Couldn’t be better. This will go for gold in Swedish Championships this spring.
Cheers all and Merry Xmas to you all!
Just a few days ago brand new tumblers especially designed for IPA arrived from Spiegelau. They are Perfectly delivered by http://www.kitchentime.se. Perfect as we just bottled our new Humle & Dumle Xmas Brown Ale 2014.
A thin glass with a great aroma area designed on top.

Today we decided to brew the HumleDumle Xmas Brown Ale 2014.
Challenge to get the recipe right. We decided to try for this Xmas a new Wyeast 1217 West Coast IPA Direct pitch Activator. Also during the planning we totally mixed up our inventory. So for now we improvised totally in the grain mix. Instead of using Pale Ale malt as a main we decided to go for Pilsener Malt instead. Also som of the Muncher malts was less in stock than expected.
Anyway we are confident that the new mix will generate a very tasty beer. Hops we haven’t yet checked. Imagine how exciting these sessions get. In work very structured brewing beer you go along and just do. The process always creates a great beer to taste.
For this Xmas we decided to go double volume. Please enjoy our two different recipes. This one today in this blog post. They will be posted in the Recipies section for you to try out.
Xmas feeling is coming closer!
Merry November brewing feeling to you all//
